An hour to setup? I plugged my iPhone into my Mac Book Pro and it was sync-ed in hmmm about 2 mintues, all email, contacts, calendars, videos, music, applications all working perfect. As for the SDK, you should check out Apples SDK for their iPhone... pretty sweet. Just my 2 bits.
T-Mobile G1 First Impressions tag:www.enjoybeing.net,2008-11-23:/tumble/id/249//comment_173 2008-11-23T08:13:14-06:00 2008-11-23T08:13:14-06:00 justin Perkins http://www.enjoybeing.net/blog
Darren, I guess I didn't make myself clear in the original post. Importing my contacts would have been a snap if I had kept my google contact list up-to-date with my contacts, as you apparently were doing with your Apple Address Book. My contact list was on my SIM card for my old phone only.
T-Mobile G1 First Impressions tag:www.enjoybeing.net,2008-12-07:/tumble/id/249//comment_174 2008-12-07T11:10:05-06:00 2008-12-07T11:10:05-06:00 Debbie http://
Bummer!!!! my phone slipped out of it's holded and fell to the floor, cracked the screen after only 2 days! Repair center is 270.00 to repair and insurance deductable is 130.00. So hang on to the phone! I've dropped my other phones and they were alot more durable! this one just shattered!
T-Mobile G1 First Impressions tag:www.enjoybeing.net,2008-12-07:/tumble/id/249//comment_175 2008-12-07T15:50:58-06:00 2008-12-07T15:50:58-06:00 justin http://www.enjoybeing.net
Debbie, the G1 screen is glass which makes it less durable than other phones (I think the iPhone is glass too), but makes it easier to clean and less at risk to scratches.
